Q: WHAT TIME DO YOU NEED TO BOOK A PICNIC?
A: We can hold a picnic up to 48 hours in advance if the day is available, otherwise make sure to reserve your date as soon as possible.
Q: WHAT ARE THE FOOD OPTIONS?
A: We have 3 types of pre-designed menus: the Caribbean menu, brunch menu, party menu and charcuterie boards. If you want other options, we have an additional chef service that personalizes your order.
Q: WHAT DOES MY PICNIC INCLUDE?
A: Includes all the decoration, the appetizers plus the drink.
Q: Does Caribbean Luxury Picnic stay during our picnic or event?
A: No, we leave after you are settled and return once your picnic reservation is finalized. If you need us during your picnic, you can call or text your Caribbean Luxury Picnic attendant (whose number is provided in your confirmation email) and we will be on site within minutes.
Q: CAN WE GO OUT WHEN WE WANT?
A: If you wish to leave earlier than the agreed time, please let us know 30 minutes in advance by phone call or text message. You are responsible for the picnic items until we can return and pack up.
Q: HOW TO SELECT A LOCATION?
A: If you have a location in mind, please send it with your inquiry. We will do our best to accommodate your location request, however, there may be an additional charge when it comes to rough terrain: sand, trails, steep slopes, etc. We may not be able to deliver our equipment to the requested area. We request that locations be 50 yards from vehicle access. Unless location scouting services are purchased for your event, you will be responsible for location selection.
Q: SHOULD I INCLUDE MY SMALL CHILDREN IN THE GUEST ACCOUNT WHEN BOOKING?
A: It depends on how you think the children will be comfortable - if you would like us to include seating and food for them, please include the children in the guest count. If you have questions, you can always email us and we'll be happy to talk it over.
Q: DO I NEED A PERMIT?
A: That depends on the location, the number of people and a couple of other factors. If you have a special place in mind we may be able to provide some guidance if we have done this before, but please ask.
Q: WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
A: We do not offer any refunds, but we can reschedule your reservation if we have availability with 72 hours notice. After that, there is a 20% rescheduling fee to move your reservation.
Q: WHAT HAPPENS IF THERE IS BAD WEATHER?
A: While bad weather in the Dominican Republic changes suddenly, it can change from sun to rain or vice versa, we have the ability to change the time, date or location of the picnic. If it looks like this may affect your booking, we will contact you before your picnic to discuss your options. There is no cancellation fee for rescheduling your picnic due to bad weather.
